Assuming the filename is ProtonAuthenticator-x.y.z.deb
Run
```
mkdir AppDir
dpkg-deb -x pa.deb AppDir
```
Get linuxdeploy https://github.com/linuxdeploy/linuxdeploy/releases/

Run

./linuxdeploy-x86_64.AppImage
--appdir AppDir
--desktop-file AppDir/usr/share/applications/*.desktop
--icon-file AppDir/usr/share/icons/hicolor/256x256@2/apps/*.png
--output appimage
