Privacy Policy for Tavo Dienynas

Overview

Tavo Dienynas ("the App") is a mobile application that provides access to the manodienynas.lt school diary website with optional translation features. This privacy policy explains how the App handles user data.

Information Collection and Use

Data We Do NOT Collect

The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to us or any third parties. Specifically:

  • We do not collect names, email addresses, or contact information
  • We do not collect location data
  • We do not use analytics or tracking services
  • We do not display advertisements
  • We do not share any data with third parties

Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The App stores the following data locally on your device only:

  1. Translation Cache: Translated text is cached in a local database to improve performance and reduce repeated translations. This cache is stored only on your device and is never transmitted elsewhere.

  2. Language Preferences: Your selected translation language is saved locally.

  3. Session Data: Website cookies and session information for manodienynas.lt are managed by the Android WebView component and stored locally.

  4. Last Viewed Page: The URL of the last viewed page is saved locally to restore your session.

On-Device Translation

The App uses Google ML Kit for translation, which operates entirely on your device. Text is translated locally without being sent to any servers. Translation language models are downloaded once and stored on your device.

Children's Privacy

This App is designed to be safe for use by children of all ages. The App:

  • Does not collect any personal information from children or adults
  • Does not contain advertisements
  • Does not include in-app purchases
  • Does not link to social networks
  • Does not share data with third parties

The App complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations.

Third-Party Services

manodienynas.lt

The App provides access to the manodienynas.lt website. When you use the App, you interact directly with manodienynas.lt, which has its own privacy policy and data practices. Please refer to their privacy policy for information about how they handle your data.

Google ML Kit

The App uses Google ML Kit for on-device translation. ML Kit processes text entirely on your device without sending data to Google servers. For more information, see Google ML Kit's data practices.

Data Security

All data is stored locally on your device using Android's standard security mechanisms. The App does not transmit your data over the internet except when you interact with the manodienynas.lt website.

Your Rights

Since we do not collect any personal data, there is no personal data to access, modify, or delete from our systems. You can clear locally stored data by:

  • Clearing the App's data in Android Settings
  • Uninstalling the App

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy.
