This the problem of tracking user contributions to a distributed IP franchise can effectively utilize the composability of the Trusted Rope and Federation (TRaF) architecture as the foundation for the Triadic Resonance Economics (TRE) model.

The proposed system, the Triadic IP Resonance Engine (TRE-IP), is structured across three layers to manage content integrity, canonical authority, and pulse-based value flow for the franchise.

1. Layer 1: Content and Provenance (TRaF Core)

The core principle here is immutable attribution for all creators, regardless of canon status.

A. Data Structure and Integrity

Every asset—a character concept, a fan-fiction chapter, a 3D model, or a sound effect—is represented as an entity with its content stored in the NonoStore and its sequence preserved in a Rope.

Component TRaF Primitive Function
UCC Asset (e.g., Fan Story) Rope (Sequential Log) Preserves the fixed order of the narrative or asset components.
Creator ID Rope Owner Public Key ($PK_{owner}$) Establishes Atomic Content Verifiability ($\mathcal{R}_1$). This is the immutable attribution proof.
Sequence Proof Cumulative Hash ($H_N$) Ensures Sequential Integrity ($\mathcal{R}_2$). Proves the content has not been altered or censored since signing.
Derivative Link Triple ((DerivativeID, "based-on-rope", ParentRopeID)) Provides a verifiable, auditable link back to the original source Rope.

B. Attribution and Non-Repudiation

The creator's $PK_{owner}$ signature on the initial $H_1$ of their Rope provides non-repudiable proof of authorship. If the content is later adopted, the creator's role and identity are mathematically bound to the genesis of that content, preventing the IP owner or others from claiming the original idea.

2. Layer 2: Canon and Trust (TRaF Federation)

This layer uses the Delegated Federator ($\mathcal{R}_4$) concept to establish and verify the official status of content. The IP Owner acts as the supreme Canonical Authority.

A. Canonical Authority (The Trust Enclave)

The IP Franchise Owner holds the highly secured Canonical Authority Public Key ($PK_{canon}$). All decisions regarding canon status flow from this key.

B. The Verification Process ($\mathcal{R}_4$ Application)

When the IP Owner decides on a piece of UCC, they create a special Federation Mapping Rope to bridge their official universe Rope with the UCC creator's Rope.

UCC Status Mapping Predicate (Signed by $PK_{canon}$) Verification
Official Canon (OfficialRopeID, "canonical-link-to", UCC\_RopeID) The presence of this triple, signed by $PK_{canon}$, elevates the UCC to canonical status.
Extended Universe (OfficialRopeID, "extended-link-to", UCC\_RopeID) The presence of this triple, also signed by $PK_{canon}$, verifies the content is acknowledged and approved for the extended universe, but is not canonical.
Unapproved UCC (No triple from $PK_{canon}$) The content remains a self-attested Rope (Layer 1) but lacks the verified link to the franchise universe.

This provides immediate, verifiable proof of status via a simple triple lookup, fulfilling the requirement for official canon verification.

3. Layer 3: Economic Model (TRE Pulse Accounting)

The final layer integrates the Triadic Resonance Economics (TRE) for automated, verifiable revenue distribution and incentivization.

A. Triadic Roles for IP

The TRE system defines three standard roles:

  1. Auctor (Creator): The original UCC $PK_{owner}$ (who holds the $\mathcal{R}_1$ proof).
  2. Resonator (Curator/Remixer): Users who create successful derivatives or contribute value through translation, commentary, or tagging (signed $\mathcal{R}_3$ Meta-Ropes).
  3. Commons (IP Holder): The $PK_{canon}$ of the franchise, representing the communal value pool.

B. Pulse Accounting and the Hash Fabric

All revenue streams (e.g., sales of merchandise featuring the UCC character, ad revenue from a canonical chapter) are logged as financial events:

  1. Revenue Event Batches: Transaction records are collected into batches (the "Pulse").
  2. Verifiability ($\mathcal{R}_6$): The Hash Fabric ($\mathcal{R}_6$) is used to calculate a Merkle Root ($H_{Root}$) over this batch. This root is posted as the Global Anchor, ensuring all revenue events are verifiably included and timestamped.
  3. Pulse Gating: At the end of the Pulse, the total accrued revenue is automatically distributed based on the Resonance Quotient (RQ) of the related content.

C. Demurrage and Resonance Incentives

The TRE system addresses the problem of stale content using Demurrage.

  • Resonance Quotient (RQ): An algorithmic score based on verifiable graph activity (number of $\mathcal{R}_4$ links, sales volume, cross-references in new Ropes, etc.).
  • Demurrage Mechanism: Funds allocated to a piece of content (a "Value Stock") are subjected to decay if the content's RQ falls below a certain threshold.
    • Incentive: This incentivizes creators and curators (Auctors/Resonators) to actively maintain, remix, or link to their content to prevent the value from decaying.
    • Value Recirculation: Demurred funds are recirculated back into the central Commons pool, available to fund new canonicalization efforts or community grants, dynamically pruning non-resonant content from the active value system.
