If Signal is blocked in your country, you can use a proxy to get started with and continue using Signal. More information about Signal proxies is available on the Signal support page.

Here is a list of public proxies you can try. Pressing the link on your phone should open Signal with the proxy information filled in. If you live in a country where Signal is blocked, there is a high chance that these are blocked as well. Given that these are public, it will also be easy to determine that you are using a proxy to circumvent censorship.
Check out the hashtag #SignalProxy on social media, for instance, on Mastodon or X/Twitter. Your best bet to find a proxy that is not being censored is to message users who are not posting their proxy publicly.
Send an email to the address in the image below, and you will receive a reply not mentioning Signal, containing the hostname of a Signal proxy. I have a limited number of proxies, so you will get the same response as other people.
