Gist Mom is a collaborative editor for GitHub Gist, just sprinkling a bit of Y.js love on top of your gist, no more, no less.

How to use it?

Take your Gist URL and replace github.com with mom (e.g. select up to c and press m and Enter)

That's it. Send the link to your friends and colleagues and you can work on the doc together. Press Esc to unfocus the editor, then press / to chat.

Why?

1. I forgot @shuding's mak.ink has Gist sync.
2. I kinda wanna use Dropbox Paper style UI with different fonts for my writing.
3. Y.js is a marvel of engineering and software should bring us closer, not pull further apart. Live collaboration with cursors backed by CRDTs is the shit.
4. The domain was 1.54$.

Who?

Gist Mom was made by Claude Opus and me, @hasparus. Mostly by Opus tho, so please open an issue if you see something broken.
