# Privacy Policy for PDF Grid Viewer

## Overview
PDF Grid Viewer is committed to protecting your privacy. This app does not collect, transmit, or share any user data.

## Data Collection
PDF Grid Viewer does **not** collect any personal information or usage data.

## Local Storage
All data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework:
- PDF folder references (security-scoped bookmarks)
- Your personal notes and annotations
- Document metadata and settings
- User preferences

This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to anyone but you.

## Apple Intelligence
When you use the analysis feature, document processing happens entirely on your device using Apple's Foundation Models framework. No data is sent to external servers or Apple's cloud services.

## Network Access
PDF Grid Viewer does not require or use network access. The app works completely offline.

## Third-Party Services
PDF Grid Viewer does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

## Security-Scoped Bookmarks
The app requests permission to access folders you explicitly select. This is a standard macOS security feature that allows the app to remember folders between launches. You can revoke access at any time by removing folders from the sidebar.

## Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the app's release notes.
