iClaudius Privacy Policy

Overview

iClaudius is a native macOS application designed to help developers manage and visualize their Claude Code configuration. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.

Data Collection

iClaudius does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data.

What iClaudius Accesses Locally

iClaudius reads the following local files on your Mac to provide its functionality:

  • ~/.claude/ directory contents (CLAUDE.md files, settings, projects)
  • ~/.claude.json configuration file
  • Local project CLAUDE.md files in your working directories

What iClaudius Does NOT Do

  • ❌ Does not send any data to external servers
  • ❌ Does not collect analytics or usage statistics
  • ❌ Does not track your behavior
  • ❌ Does not access your Claude API keys or credentials
  • ❌ Does not store any data outside your local machine
  • ❌ Does not require an internet connection to function
  • ❌ Does not use cookies or similar tracking technologies

Data Processing

All data processing occurs entirely on your local machine. iClaudius:

  • Reads configuration files from your local filesystem
  • Displays this information in the app interface
  • Never transmits this information anywhere

Data Storage

iClaudius does not maintain its own data store. It reads directly from existing Claude Code configuration files that are already on your system.

Third-Party Services

iClaudius does not integrate with or send data to any third-party services, analytics platforms, or external APIs.

Children's Privacy

iClaudius does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13 years of age, as it does not collect any personal information from any users.

Changes to This Policy

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of iClaudius after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Open Source

iClaudius is developed with transparency in mind. The application's behavior can be verified through its source code.
