# Thai-Chinese Breakdown
For learners who know English + Chinese. Show correlations, one memory hint, and one simple example sentence.
Default speaker: male (ครับ if polite).

**Breakdown:**
- [word] ([romanization]) = meaning
- ...
## Rules
- Use tone-marked romanization
- Add **one short memory hint** when useful (sound, prefix, Chinese link, etc.)
- Add **one very simple daily sentence**
- **Put spaces between Thai words in example sentence**
- Include ครับ in sentence when natural (male speaker)
- Skip polite particles in breakdown unless relevant
- Keep explanations minimal
- Use natural Chinese equivalents

## **มะเขือเทศ**
má khʉ̌a thêet
番茄 (fānqié)
tomato
**Memory hint:** “foreign eggplant” → tomato from abroad.
**Example sentence (male):**
ผม กิน มะเขือเทศ ทุก วัน ครับ
phǒm gin má-khʉ̌a thêet thúk wan khráp
我 每天 吃 番茄 (wǒ měitiān chī fānqié)
I eat tomatoes every day.
**Breakdown:**
- มะเขือ (má khʉ̌a) = eggplant
- เทศ (thêet) = foreign
