Privacy Policy for OpenFront Bot

Effective Date: January 31, 2026

1. Introduction

OpenFront Bot ("the Bot") is a Discord application developed by @deshack. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy details what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

2. Information We Collect

To provide our services (OpenFront stats, win statistics, win announcements, clan leaderboard), we collect the following data:

A. Automatic Data

When you interact with the Bot or participate in a server where the Bot is installed, we may collect:

  • Discord Server (Guild) IDs: To link configurations and premium subscriptions to specific servers.
  • Discord Channel IDs: To link announcements configurations to specific channels.

B. User-Provided Data

  • Command Inputs: Text provided when using specific slash commands (e.g., accessing leaderboard, configuring Player IDs).
  • Discord User IDs: To identify unique users for FFA wins announcements.

C. Payment Data

We do not collect or process any financial information (such as credit card numbers or billing addresses).

  • Processing: All transactions are handled directly by Discord.
  • Data Access: We access your "Entitlement Data" via the Discord API. This tells us which premium features (SKUs) you have purchased so we can unlock them for you.

3. How We Use Information

We use your data solely for the following purposes:

  1. Core Functionality: To track wins and post win announcements to your configured channels.
  2. Configuration: To remember server-specific settings (e.g., win announcement channels).
  3. Premium Verification: To ensure a specific server has access to paid features.

4. Data Storage and Retention

  • Data is stored in a secure database hosted on CloudFlare.
  • We retain data for as long as the Bot is in your server.
  • If the Bot is kicked/removed from a server, data associated with that server may be deleted after 90 days, or retained for historical leaderboard accuracy depending on configuration.

5. Third-Party Data Sharing

We do not sell or trade your data. Data is only shared with:

  • Discord: We communicate with Discord's API to verify your premium status (Entitlements). We do not share data with any other external payment processors.

6. Your Rights (Data Deletion)

You have the right to request a copy of your data or request its deletion.

  • To request deletion: Please contact us at mattia.mglrn@gmail.com.
  • Automated Deletion: Use the command /ffa-unregister or /setup disable, or remove the bot from your server.
