Terms of Use for GoToAppleMaps

Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using GoToAppleMaps ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Description of Service

GoToAppleMaps is a tool that converts Google Maps Saved Places exports (CSV files) into Apple Maps Guides. The App provides:

  • CSV file parsing and processing
  • Place matching via Apple Maps API
  • Apple Maps Guide URL generation
  • Optional in-app tip jar purchases

User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide only CSV files you have the right to use
  • Use the App in compliance with all applicable laws
  • Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or redistribute the App
  • Not use the App to process data you do not own or have permission to use

Intellectual Property

  • The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Ruslan Dautov.
  • Google Maps is a trademark of Google LLC. Apple Maps is a trademark of Apple Inc.
  • The App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google or Apple.

Third-Party Services

The App interacts with Apple's MapKit and Apple Maps API services. Your use of these services is subject to Apple's terms and conditions. The App uses StoreKit for optional tip jar purchases, processed entirely by Apple.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE:

  • The accuracy of place matching results
  • The availability of Apple Maps API services
  • That the App will meet your specific requirements
  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE DEVELOPER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

In-App Purchases

  • The App offers optional tip jar purchases to support development.
  • All purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit.
  • Refund requests should be directed to Apple per their refund policy.
  • Tips are voluntary and do not unlock additional features.

Data Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how the App handles your data. In summary: no personal data is collected, stored, or transmitted.

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the App.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
