Odido Fiber : TP-Link Deco As Main Router

I recently changed my default router from Odido with a TP-Link Deco router.

I required specific settings for the router to work, documenting it here and the reference for the future and others.

Note: I only have a internet connection with them and no IPTV.

Overview

Fiber -> Media Converter -> Ethernet -> TP-Link Deco Router

Configuration Required

After setting up the Deco router, connect to it so you can change the following for the internet connection to work:

Open the Deco app
Select the More section
Select the Advanced feature under the section
Select IPTV/VLAN
- Enable this option
- Choose Custom for the ISP Profile
- Enable Internet VLAN
- Enter 300 in Internet VLAN ID
- Enter 0 in Internet VLAN Priority
- Enable 802.1Q Tag
Restart Router, internet connection should be active after this.
