Easy Merits Checklist

1. Domino effect - Defeat a player with the domino honor bar
An easy target is L3MILK[1999595] Stat Total: 104
2. Pocket money - Make an investment in the bank
You'll get the merit as soon as you deposit any amount in the bank.
3. Gone fishing - Be defeated by a trout
Ask a faction member to defeat you with a trout OR be defeated by one having it equipped as their temporary.
4. Historian - Read a chronicle
Read any article in the Archives until the merit shows up (~ 10 mins). You can leave it open in a tab.
5. Landlord - Lease one of your properties to someone
Rent any unused property you have (can't rent Shack) to someone for at least 3 days.
6. Pious - Donate a total $100,000 to the church
7. Forgiven - Pray at church for ~ 2 weeks
Pray in the Church for 2 weeks straight. Each pray costs 5 energy.
8. The Affronted - Infuriate all interviewers in starter jobs
Until you reach level 3, you can only work in starter jobs. These are - Army, Grocer, Law Casino, Medical and Education. With certain dialogue options, you can piss off the interviewers. If you do that for all the jobs, then you get the 'Affronted' merit. Don't worry, you can reapply in about 3 days. Here's a guide by Kekker[1761] explaining step-by-step on how to achieve this merit.

9. Church Mouse - Get mugged for $1
Keep $21 in your wallet and wait to get mugged. You can also ask a faction member to mug you*.
10. Woodland camo - Win 5 attacks
Attack any 5 people and win. Simple as that.
11. Lean - Attain 100 total stats
12. Flatline - Defeat someone in one hit
There are level 1 inactives whom you can easily attack and defeat in one hit.
13. Semper Fortis, Manu Forti and Vae Victis - Defeat someone with stats more than, 2x and 5x than yours
An easy target for this is penguinbob [1636674], because of his uneven stats. Though his total stats are more than 2.7 million, his defence, speed and dexterity are 22, 23 and 18 respectively, making him easy to kill in one shot.
14. Spinner - Spin the roulette wheel 1000 times
Everyday you get 75 casino tokens to play with. If you spend every single one of it in the roulette table, you can get this merit in 14 days.
Go to the roulette table in the casino. Drag one $10 chip onto the red diamond and another $10 chip onto the black diamond. Spin the roulette wheel by clicking on it. When the round completes, click 'Repeat Bets'. Repeat this till you run out of casino tokens.
15. Spray and Pray - Fire 1000 rounds
Buy a primary weapon with a high rate of fire. A cheap one is the P90 you can get from Big Al's Guns Shop in the city. You can get it cheaper in the item market.
Keeping shooting down people with your gun until you get this merit.
16. Love Struck - Defeat a married couple
Take them down both and you get the 'Love struck' merit. -Gabby- [2144849] (Level 4) and Scubap [2144515] (Level 6) are relatively easy targets.
