jmstrong66 Playlist from Apple music
Lemon8or88 Youtube random videos?
AblePresentation2193 I usually use spotify playlists!!
Nabster56 Main theme from Ori and the will of the wisp on repeat (Deezer) Or binaural beats / brown noise, same platform to avoid YouTube adds that would cause a heart attack when switching from a soothing sound to the audio nightmare from the add
nez329 My most played YouTube music is "Starbucks Cafe Ambience - Coffee Shop Sounds & Jazz Music." The coffeehouse ambiance and jazz music help me focus better.
nez329 Nice.
Aisnn This sounds great!
Caherdon Usually for journaling
frankypanda A soft murmur often does the trick - but excited to try this!
thomashygum omg this is actually genius, i always get distracted when my focus music gets repetitive and i have to switch playlists mid-study session.
pzee01 Lofi Girl - Youtube
Jezebel_with_snakes oh wow, this would be awesome. I recently had to cancel my endel subscription because I just couldn’t afford it
Aisnn Currently, I am using "Classical Focus" on YT, and sometimes I use [mynoise.net](http://mynoise.net) for deep work and studying related stuff.
Nuenni I usually work with focus music or ambient background sounds. Sometimes I also listen to ambient output with light radio chatter, it helps a lot with not feeling alone while deep working. I checked out your web app as well and honestly, the design looks really clean and well thought through. Feels calm and focused, which fits the use case nicely. For the music for focus I need to test it 😉
OathKeeperTT Interesting idea! I use Brain.fm for focus music right now. I'm an author and I do find Brain.fm works better than random videos on YouTube. But adaptive music is quite a concept! I wonder what that would feel/sound like during my workflow. Thanks for the opportunity!
OathKeeperTT I tested it out a bit for a session today, and while I think it will take some getting used to, I thought it was nice! I could certainly feel/tell when the music was changing because I was typing more versus reading or reviewing my notes, but I think I was just more aware of these changes because this is new to me. I intend to experiment some more tomorrow and see how that goes. Thanks for offering a trial period! This is quite cool. 😊
jonlb87 Ohh this sounds interesting. How does this compare to Flowtunes or the Portal app?
areyouredditenough Hell yeah, I'm always down ambient sounds/mixes! 🚀 🔥 Had a lifetime Endel, but didn't use it that much. Focus@Will was a bit better, but only web version.
AdAdditional423 have you looked into the research on the benefits of 40hz binaural beats? I listened to that for a while but stopped because I’m not sure if the experimental data is reliable right now
faisalfarooqui I have ADHD. I use focus music to trigger my brain to get into "Deep Work" mode. This is where I get into the zone, focus on the one task at hand and leave the world behind as I hyper-focus to complete projects and tasks that move the needle. Currently I use an app called Endel to get my hyper-focused and into "deep work" mode if that helps you any. I appreciate the minimalist look of your app, since things that are "too busy" looking become a distraction. I'd love to rave about a tool that helped me stay focused to others.
faisalfarooqui Nicely done!

SARFEX I use brainfm and Spotify playlists :)
DainichiNyorai Currently unfortunately nothing because I don’t have work and I’m home with my kids. No real sit down and get this stuff on the road-time. I hope to be starting a new job soon (ish), then I’ll probably revert back to lofi girl and the videos with a pomodoro timer from that channel :)
Huntsworth I’ve had great results with brain.fm with my adhd brain. This sounds really intriguing

krelltunez I have never used focus music, but now I am asking “where has this been all my life?” This would be a great alternative to my white noise machine. PICK ME, PICK ME! Haha, thanks.

nulliusior Lo-fi when I need to focus, movie soundtracks when I’m feeling dramatic about my to-do list 😄
Sweaty-Attention768 I use playlists on Apple Music.
mtl_unicorn I use, depending on mood/situation: BrainFM, Spotify (electronic music, instrumental movie soundtracks, some other genres depending on mood), podcasts, audiobooks, ambient noise (coffee shop, rain, waves). I have ADHD so I always have to adapt my audio according to my brain at that moment. The adaptive music concept sounds really interesting. How does it work?
joytonin I mostly use different focus playlists on my Apple Music! It’s hard though, sometimes I need soft instrumental so I can focus on the words in front of me (I’m mostly studying as a med student, not working yet) but other times I need a bit of a “punch” so I can keep going without falling asleep. Hard to find the right balance!
randalltrini Very, very clean ... noiiice... I use a webplayer called ibroadcast...
irman95 Lofi youtube
jaysdontlai I use just a random Spotify Focus Playlist but it hasn't been super productive for me unfortunately. Will try this out. Thanks!
