Should we change the name of the package.json to our own name?

This worked for me.
Just replace your start and build scripts with the above one.

Yarn install works perfectly with no errors you should try that (It will install all the cloned dependencies even without using npm install --legacy-peer-deps.

to manually add your "devDependencies" you can run yarn add -D @redux-devtools/core @redux-devtools/dock-monitor @redux-devtools/log-monitor eslint-config-airbnb eslint-plugin-import eslint-plugin-jsx-a11y eslint-plugin-react eslint-plugin-react-hooks

I copied this package.json file and use it to replace the package.json in my server. When ran my first nodemon, i discovered this package.json is actually for the client side

npm i @material-ui/core @material-ui/icons @material-ui/lab axios jwt-decode material-ui-chip-input moment react-file-base64 react-google-login react-redux react-router-dom redux redux-thunk --legacy-peer-deps

If any error occurs while downloading dependency just add "--legacy-peer-deps" to your command at the end and it will run

Not sure if it's becasue I have windows, but I had to make the following modification on my package.json file for the client side:

"start": "set NODE_OPTIONS=--openssl-legacy-provider&& react-scripts start",
"build": "set NODE_OPTIONS=--openssl-legacy-provider && react-scripts build",

A bit different from what you posted but definitely fixed my issue with the "npm start"
