Top Usenet Indexers (2026 Edition)

A curated list of Usenet indexing sites for automation (Sonarr/Radarr) and manual browsing. Updated: Jan 2026

πŸ† Tier 1: The "Must-Haves"

These are the heavy hitters. Most users should have at least one of these as their primary source.

πŸ₯ˆ Tier 2: Strong Complements

β€’ Misses some obfuscated releases
NZB.su Open Paid General Backup β€’ Reliable, long history
β€’ Good retention
β€’ "Middle of the road" performance
β€’ UI feels ancient

πŸ†“ Free / Search Engines

Useful for manual searching, but often fail with automation (Sonarr/Radarr) due to lack of de-obfuscation.

  • Binsearch: The classic raw search engine. Good for finding files if you know the exact cryptic filename. No registration required.
  • NZBKing: Massive retention and raw index size, but minimal filtering. You will see a lot of spam/viruses here if you aren't careful.
  • NZBIndex: Similar to Binsearch, simple and effective for manual raw searches.

πŸ’‘ Notes on "Invites"

  • DrunkenSlug & DogNZB: Usually require an invite from an existing user.
  • r/UsenetInvites: The dedicated subreddit for finding invites. Read their rules carefully; they are strict about offering/requesting correctly.
  • Open Signups: Sites like NinjaCentral often open for 24 hours during holidays (Black Friday, May the 4th, Valentine's). Set an alert on r/usenet.

Disclaimer: I do not host or control these sites. Use a VPN and SSL connections when accessing Usenet.
