πŸš€ Pocket Project - Quick Start Guide

Get up and running in 10 minutes!

This quick guide will help you start using Pocket Project right away. For detailed information, see the Complete User Guide.


Step 1: Login

  1. Open the Pocket Project URL in your browser
  2. Enter your email and password
  3. Click Login

πŸ”‘ Forgot password? Click "Forgot Password?" to reset it.


Step 2: Explore Your Dashboard

After login, you'll see:

  • Your Projects - Projects you're assigned to
  • Recent Activity - Latest updates
  • Notifications - Items needing your attention (check the πŸ”” bell icon)

Step 3: Your First Daily Log

Daily logs are your digital site diary. Create one every working day!

  1. Click Daily Logs in the menu
  2. Click Add Daily Log
  3. Fill in:
    • Date - Select today's date
    • Project - Choose your project
    • Weather - AM/PM conditions
    • Work Activities - What was done today
    • Total Workers - Number on site
  4. Click Submit

πŸ’‘ Tip: Complete your daily log at the end of each day while details are fresh!


Step 4: Record Key Events

πŸ“‹ If work was delayed:

Go to Daily Log β†’ Mark "Has Delays" β†’ Select reason β†’ Add description

πŸ’° If you need to claim extra money:

  1. Go to Claims
  2. Click Add Claim
  3. Enter amount and justification
  4. Click Submit

⏰ If you need more time:

  1. Go to Extensions
  2. Click Request Extension
  3. Enter days needed and reason
  4. Click Submit

⚠️ If there's a problem:

  1. Go to Issues
  2. Click Add Issue
  3. Describe the problem
  4. Click Save

Step 5: Add Resources

Add a Worker:

Labourers β†’ Add Labourer β†’ Enter name and details β†’ Save

Add Equipment:

Plants β†’ Add Plant β†’ Enter details β†’ Save

Record a Delivery:

Deliveries β†’ Add Delivery β†’ Enter what arrived β†’ Save


Step 6: Generate Reports

  1. Go to Reports
  2. Select report type (Projects, Claims, Daily Logs, etc.)
  3. Apply filters if needed
  4. Choose Excel or PDF export
