DTR: Tyler & Ellie

Project:

Group Member Names: Tyler & Ellie

Goals and Expectations for the Project (What does each group member hope to get out of this project? What do we want to achieve as a team? How will we know that we're successful?): We both want to fully understand the concepts introduced in the project. As a team, we both want to get comfortable working together through difficult areas. Success = Completion && Understanding!

Team strengths & collaboration styles (consider discussing your Pairin qualities here): We both feel that communication is one our biggest strengths

How we can use our strengths to overcome obstacles: We are quick to communicate our struggles, so our time will be used efficiently.

Schedule Expectations (When are we available to work together and individually? What constraints do we have? Make sure to discuss the remote questions above in regards to this section): No team work after 9pm. Weekends -> No Sunday. Maybe afternoon checkins on Saturdays then divide-and-conquer

Communication Expectations (How and often will we communicate? How do we keep lines of communication open? How will we make decisions as a team? How will we communicate about our emotional and mental well-being with each other?): 8am - 9pm through Slack; Emotional/mental checkins -> Direct/Brutal Honesty!

Abilities & Growth Expectations (Technical strengths and areas for desired improvement): "Flexing our JavaScript muscles", problem solving, JS syntax. Also, learning about HTML, CSS, DOM, etc.

Workload Expectations (What features do we each want to work on?): Alternate bullet points for every iteration, if one is unusually difficult, tackle together.

Workflow Expectations (Git workflow/Tools/Code Review/Reviewing Pull Requests/Debugging and Problem-solving Techniques):
Alternate & Look at each other's pull requests and approve/leave comments. Debugging and Problem-solving Techniques: Tackle together as they come along.

Pomodoro Break Schedule: As we feel we need them, we'll let each other know.

Expectations for giving and receiving feedback: Direct and clear; Daily check-in for any feedback we want to go over

Additional Remote Considerations:

Project management tools we will use (GitHub projects or Trello are popular tools): Slack DMs

Day 1 Agenda: Plan to meet and work on iteration 0 at 5:30-ish :)
